Store bought cards are a wonder when you're heading to a party and you're short on time. However, nothing says "I love you," "I'm thinking about you," and "I care about you" like a handmade card.
Undoubtedly, in one's busy schedule it may be hard to find the time to make one, but that's the cool part about cards. You can multitask. Many people watch movies, listen to music and/or audiobooks while making cards, which is great! You can also make cards with friends and/or with your child(ren). It's nice for every age and a good hobby to have.
Cards are perfect for any occasion. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, get well, or simply just because. If you don't feel like you're creative enough to make cards, then hear me out. These days making cards is as easy as tying your shoe laces. Honestly. They have stickers, millions of different shapes that you can punch out, stamps, etc. Basically anything you can possibly imagine! If you know how to use glue and scissors, you know how to make a card.
If you're concerned about the layout, then look at other people's cards for inspiration. There are plenty of websites out there with the cutest cards that are surprisingly simple. One of the best is Pinterest. Pinterest has gazillions of cards and many other things, too. Just go on the website, find the search button, type in "handmade cards" and you'll be set for life.
