Enjoy a delightful spring afternoon with MMO

This November, the Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra is proudly presenting the world premiere of 'Hand-painted Soundscapes', a new work by renowned Australian mandolin virtuoso and composer, Stephen Lalor.

Held on Sunday 12th November in the intimate venue of St George's Centre, this special live music event will feature the Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra performing an exciting repertoire of contemporary and classical music.

Comencing at 2.30pm, concert-goers will also be treated to Stephen Lalor's 'Hand-painted Soundscapes', which was commissioned by the Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra and the world premiere of 'Darkness and Light' by conductor Werner Ruecker. Other works include 'Family Squabble', a light-hearted joust by Owen Hartford, and 'Songs without Words' by old favourite Konrad Woelki.

Come and spend a delightful Sunday afternoon in the company of the Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra this November.

Tickets are now on sale through Trybooking; all tickets are $25 and children 12 and under will receive FREE entry. Tickets will also be available at the door, however early bookings are advised. If you have an enquiry, please call 0438 023 944.

The Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra will also be presenting another concert in Warrnambool on Sunday 19th November, together with The Cindy Lee Ensemble of wonderful singers at St Brigid's Church, 212 Koroit/Port Fairy Road, Crossley, starting at 2 pm, Tickets are $20 at door or from Collins Booksellers.
