The meat cleaver door handles at the entrance send a signal of the attention to design at Hand Cut. The restaurant sits just off the canal of the Scottsdale Waterfront area and offers high-quality drinks and dinner ingredients.
Hand Cut offers a relaxed but classy ambience with service to match. Start your experience with one of their twelve unique signature cocktails such as the Peach Ambrosia or Fig Fashioned. I chose a glass of Conundrum, a smooth California Red Blend.
For dinner, I ordered the California burger with smashed avocado, herb aioli, and melted Swiss. I took advantage of the option for a gluten-free lettuce wrap. The burger was tender and juicy and had a great blend of tastes. The sweet potato fries came with a chilli-lime dip that was tasty but not spicy.
Heartier fare includes Flat Iron Steak, Hawaiian Pork Chop, and Garlic and Herb Crab Fettuccini. Add on a side of lemon asparagus, truffle mashed potatoes, or mac and cheese.
Only three desserts were offered but I could have ordered all three. Brown sugared strawberries topped the very creamy cheesecake.
If you are exploring the Scottsdale Waterfront area, stop in at Hand Cut for a wonderful meal with friendly prompt service.
