The Salvation Army has been around for many decades now providing assistance to those in need. They run many different things, such as the Hamodava Cafe and the overnight café for those who are on the streets.

They have mobile outreach teams for those who don't have a place to stay and are out on the streets. They try to find housing for the homeless people on the street on any given night. They also have a shop in which people can buy preloved goods.

The food at the Hamodava Cafe on Bourke St is wonderful. Here whilst meals are free, they ask that you put in a donation to help them cover the costs of the food and the volunteer staff.

Let's wish that all people have a place to stay and food to eat.
