An Unforgettable Experience
Known as one of the new 7 wonders of the world or the 8th wonder of the world, Halong does not disappoint.
You can see photos all over the internet of the awe-inspiring beauty of Halong Bay, but still nothing quite prepares one for just how beautiful this place is. Thousands of islets line the horizon as you cruise through in the calm, protected seas of the Vietnam coast.
Through our organised tour package with Vietnam Unique Tours, we had a one night tour via Signature Cruises. None of us can get over just how great the cruise one – from the food to the rooms, it was definitely the ultimate highlight of our Vietnam experience.
We all enjoyed this super cruise :)
The cruise itinerary is very organised, down to the very last minute. No time is wasted, and there's time to relax and enjoy and see so much. The boat is massive, you have no idea until you step inside, sort of like an older junket ship, there's a roof top sun deck (perfect for cocktails and relaxation at sunset), cooking classes, tai chi lessons, side trips to explore some islets and caves, and much more.
The room is beautifully decorated, spacious and the bathroom features a jacuzzi tub!
Best time to take this trip we think would be around March and May (not too cold, not too hot). But it is all year round attraction, each season showcasing a different beauty of the bay. While there are certainly a number of cruise lines travelling the Halong Bay area, my family and I would recommend to go with Signature Cruises. If we could do it again, we'd definitely opt for the 2 night/3 Day trip, we did the 1 night trip – but it's not enough! You won't be ready to leave like we were, and keep thinking 'gosh I wish we had another night!'.
