Located in the Grampians, Halls Gap Zoo is at the base of the magical Grampians mountain range.

See over 120 species of mammals and reptiles, such as the Tasmanian devil, a bilby, elk and many more spread out over a huge well laid out zoo.

Roaming around the zoo are beautiful deer that you can buy a bag of food for, which I recommend or else they will try and eat your map instead.

You can also do an animal experience such as handling the adorable meerkats and have them crawl over you as you feed them. You can also hold an alligator or snake or play with Australians own dingo.

So whether you are spending a few days in the Grampians discovering the great walking tracks, amazing national parks, awesome waterfalls and the friendly faces of the locals or you just want somewhere to go on a day trip, the Halls Gap Zoo is a great experience for all.
