50 plus market stalls at this huge halloween market-all ages
Once again, the Spooktacular indoor markets will be held on Sunday 29th of October, 2017, so as to get in the "spirit" of Halloween! Linsey's Community Events invite you to "fang-tastic" venue market.
You will be able to shop amongst 50 plus local small businesses, enjoy the live music entertainment and soak up the "terror-iffic" family-friendly atmosphere. Some of the things you will be able to buy are:
Homewares & Decor
Beauty, Skin & Healthcare
Spooky hand made candles
Handmade Soaps & Body Products
Great colours in this range!
Ladies Fashion & Accessories
Find these at these Markets
Children's Clothes & Accessories
Accessories for kids
Sweet Treats and many more!
And especially for the kids, amongst other things, will be:
FREE Face Painting
FREE Balloon Twisting
FREE Arts & Crafts
FREE Treat Bags (limited supply)
FREE Rock Decorating
Free rock painting
Dress up the kids in costume and don't forget to bring your bag to collect all the ghoulishly delicious treats from many of the stallholders. There will also be a select number of "mystery" goodie bags to hand out randomly. Why not hang around for a spell and let the lil monsters create their very own "scratch it" Halloween Masks and colour their own boo-tiful finger puppets in the "FREE" craft area.
Get your spook on and visit the FREE rock decorating station, or design some fright-fully good Halloween rocks. The event organiser, Linsey's Community Events, will be hiding one of their own rock at one of the stalls, and whoever finds it and brings it to Linsey (who will be dressed as a butterfly), will receive a wicked gift bag of goodies. The rock will then be re-hidden for the hunt to start over.
This event is also being run as a fundraiser for KIDZUCATE - a local not for profit anti-bullying charity based in Burns Beach. In 2014, at 6 years of age, Sian Williams founded Kidzucate. Also known as "The Kidzucate Kid", Sian felt inspired to start Kidzucate when she suffered bullying at school because of her stutter. Sian refused to become another statistic of bullying and found a fun, kid-friendly solution to her problem, and the organisation has grown from there.
To this end, there will be a tombola where you choose 3 tickets for the hauntingly low price of just $5 and know instantly whether you are a winner! All proceeds will go to help KIDZUCATE continue their important work within the community.
Help stamp out bullying
Finally, what Halloween would be complete without a visit from Maleficent herself - who will be dropping in for some scary photos with the little ghouls and ghosties. Follow the official event to be kept up to date on more of the stallholders attending and other event information here.
There will also be an onsite cafe and they will have a range of hot and cold refreshments available for purchase. There's plenty of room to park your broomsticks too - so don't be a scaredy cat …. this is suitable for ALL the family to enjoy.
