Trick or Treat!

Halloween is a wonderful time of the year, where you can either get spooky and embrace the scariest things in life, or get into the Trick or Treat fun and get yourself some really tasty treats at the same time. And if you want to get yourself some tricks and some treats, then the best place for them all is at this year's Halloween Spooktacular.

There are going to be all sorts of things to do at this wonderful Halloween event. There will be a lot of great fun for people of all ages. For the kids, you can check out the trick-or-treating, in a safe, controlled environment. The sessions run through the spooky, haunted shops. It's a great and delightful session where the kids can head through the scary shops and get themselves a treat at the end!

If you want, you can explore the Peel Produce Market, where there will be a lot of fun and different ghostly goodies on offer. Get yourself something tasty later, and if you want, you will be able to get yourself more to take home after that! While you are shopping, there will be live music to have a spooky boogie to.

For the children, there are also face painting sessions where you can become a scary creature of the night, and you can also do some more spooky dancing.

If you're all feeling brave, head to the Western Shores Dark Corners walk or the Pirate Boat Tour to have a scary, hair-raising time. The walk is a scary session near the estuary while the guides tell their spooky stories thanks to theatre, projection, and soundscapes. While the pirate boat tour is a 45-minute cruise complete with pirate-themed activities like shooting water cannons!

Please note the walk is not suitable for children under 15, and a lot of small children will find the whole evening a bit too upsetting. You will know if your own children are going to be comfortable with the sort of things that might happen. Make sure to consider how they will react as some children are easily terrified.

If you do want to have a great time this Halloween at the Halloween Spooktacular, you will want to book your tickets early. Tickets start at $15 for the pirate tours and tickets and there are multiple options for session times, at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm . For the walking tour, it is $10 per person and the sessions run between 7pm and 7:45pm or 8pm and 8:45pm. The rest of the Halloween fun is free and you don't have to book in. Head to the Smart Street Mall in Mandurah on Thursday, October 31st between 4pm and 9pm to have some spooktacular fun! Happy Halloween!
