Halloween Scream at Whiteman Park Spell

This spell is designed to bring maximum fun for the whole family (including the dog). Needs to be performed on Saturday 29th October 2016 4.30pm-7.30pm

Equipment Needed

  • At least one child (dressed in their best All Hallow's Eve costume. More children make the spell more potent and fun. The spell works best with children aged 4-12, children 3 years and under can partake for free)

  • One dog (optional, dressed up if they are happy to!)

  • A parent or guardian (sporting their best spooky costume)

  • Cauldron

  • Ingredient List

  • A variety of food from food trucks (sweet and savoury must be added)

  • Paper and pencils (the more colours the better the spell works)

  • Creepy crafts that have been made (the creepier the better)

  • Items from the Trick or Treat Scavenger Hunt

  • 500 screams (loud and scary only)

  • 2 cups of bat poo from the big bat cave

  • A cup of candy (whatever you can find)
  • The Method

Each child and adult must listen to the spooky stories, make the creepy crafts and watch, and take part in the circus tricks. These are important steps and cannot be missed out or the fun factor of the spell will not work. Another major part of the spell is to ride the Ghost Train through the dark, spooky bush and ensure each child screams loudly at least 5 times, 10 would be better.

Face painting and the slithering snakes are optional. However, if any chilling child opts for a spider web, spider or bat painted on their face, it will give the spell an extra fun boost for all concerned.

Those that are dressed up can enter the competitions. There are several to choose from:

  • Hauntingly Homemade: open to all who make their own costumes!
  • Cute to Spook Youngster: for 4 – 7 year olds
  • Wild Things: for 8 – 14 year olds
  • Ghoulish Grown-Ups: for mum & dad!
  • Scream Squad: for matching duos, trios and more
  • Doggone Cute: for the best dressed pooch

  • Once the above is completed, add to the cauldron the food of your choice from one of the food trucks, paper and pencils from the Jack-o-Lantern colouring competition, items from the scavenger hunt, any candy you happen upon and the bat poo. (The bat poo you will find in the bat cave by the ghastly graveyard.)

Stir thoroughly and ensure you add the remaining screams (only loud and scary or it will not have the desired effect) every 5 minutes until they are all added. Say the words 'Halloween Scream Whiteman Park' four times and tap the cauldron three times with your wand. If you have been practising fancy tricks with your wand, this is when you use those skills.

I have never known this formula not to work. If you carry out the spell as per the above instructions, not necessarily in the same order, I will guarantee you will have the best Halloween ever. Attend at your peril and be cautious as the spell is very potent and you could have too much fun. You have been warned.
