The Perth Observatory will be celebrating Halloween this year with a Halloween themed Night Sky Viewing Tour on October 31 that will run from 8pm to 9.30pm. The observatory will be done up in spooky decorations and there will be volunteers there dressed up in costume on the night. Admission will be $45 for adults, $35 for concession and $25 for children. People are encouraged to come dressed up in costume. There will be a prize given out on the night to the best-dressed adult and best-dressed child.
Perth Observatory volunteers will be there to show people the night sky through their range of amazing telescopes. You will be shown ghostly celestial objects like Nebulas, planets, dying stars and huge star clusters. After you've had a peek through the telescopes, don't forget to explore the rest of the museum and see their historical instruments, meteorite exhibit, astrophotographs and artwork.
