Scare - or laugh - your way through Halloween
Looking for a way to scare yourself on Halloween? Don't really do anything for Halloween but have decided you should really get out of the house at least once every six months instead of watching re-runs every Friday night (not that there is anything wrong with that!)?
Whether you do celebrate Halloween (hiding under the table with a torch and a blanket is celebrating right??) or you're just a fan of scary movies, why not head to Wallis Cinemas for a Halloween double feature.
First, scare yourself stupid with the flesh eating Dawn Of The Dead; then, laugh yourself stupid with the flesh eating Shaun Of The Dead.
Start the night off at 7pm with the scary Dawn Of The Dead followed by the hilarious but also somewhat scary (I think that might just be me though?) movie Shaun Of the Dead at 9:15pm.
At $15 per person for both movies, the prices will be the one thing that doesn't scare you (see what I did there... clears throat awkwardly).
However if you've got a scary American style Halloween party to attend and don't have time for both (or like me, you love Simon Pegg and Nick Frost movies but you're too afraid to watch Dawn Of The Dead), tickets for the individual movies can be purchased for $10 each per adult.
Spend the night hidden away from trick or treaters or just use this as an excuse to go out and enjoy yourself - and hey, if you leave the movies and the zombie apocalypse really has struck, you could always head to the Winchester... or the local shopping centre.
