Turn out for the first ever Community Market being held at the Hallam Community Learning Centre on Saturday 12th November 2016. Organisers have been hard at work creating a day guaranteed to draw a huge crowd, and with good reason. You are sure find something here to please every member of the family from the 'Special Guest' Fire Engine to the collection of market stalls.
At 10am, the market will open its doors. Browse the array of market stalls at your leisure admiring wares such as cot quilts and gift cards, knitted toys, dresses and children's hair accessories, bras and lingerie and much more.
There will be baby teething beads, handbags and jewellery, candles and soaps, and even ceramic wares and paintings, potted fairy gardens and Lorraine Lee stalls on offer.
The Red Cross are hosting the ever-popular bric-a-brac and plant stall section of the market, along with a cake stall offering plenty of delicious treats you can take home and enjoy later. The Red Cross stall is in addition to even more plants, books, savoury sauces and jams available on the day.
Kids will love the temporary tattoos, along with a delectable selection of liquorice, popcorn and fairy floss. Then everyone can enjoy lunch straight from the sausage sizzle grill. Be sure and pair up your sausages with some hot chips and a coffee courtesy of Wild Espresso coffee & Classic Aussie Caterers and you'll be set for the rest of the day.
While you're there, don't miss a very special guest appearance by the Hallam Fire Brigade. Check out the fire engine and enjoy a range of free interactive activities and fun designed especially for the kids.
