Attention all ramen lovers
Currently I am obsessed with ramen and have thus seemingly made it my life goal to dine at every ramen restaurant in Perth.

Hakata Gensuke in Victoria Park was where my love for this dish was born. With a half an hour wait to be seated, I expected the service to be equally as slow but surprisingly our meals arrived at our table not long after we had arrived in our seats. I suspect this quick service is due to the fact that they take your order while you wait to be seated - they certainly leave no time wasted!

Like most ramen restaurants, the interior is small and therefore tailored towards small groups! With one bowl of ramen costing around thirteen to fifteen dollars, these meals are both cost friendly and deceivingly filling! One of my the biggest struggles in my life is finishing a bowl of ramen.

Side dishes of dumplings, rice, chicken karaage (fried chicken) and more are available.

Located in the heart of Vic Park, Hakata Gensuke is only a quick walk away from the likes of San Churro's and other dessert stores.
