Hair to the Throne, a comedy cabaret show is part of the Hayes Theatre Co's Cabaret Season for 2015. Hunnies, this show is hilarious.

Marney McQueen's character Rosa Waxoffski has you laughing (and sometimes blushing) with double entendres, Australiana and topical pop references. Russia's celebrity bikini waxer, along with her assistant Boris Longschlongadonski moved to the suburbs of Sydney in 1984, and judging by the outfits, neither of them left the 80's.

Boris' deadpan humour mixed with Rosa's over the top stories and sensational singing are a great mix of fun for anyone who doesn't mind a bit of risqué humour, but interestingly, not one profanity is uttered!

Rosa can sing, Boris accompanies on piano and you'll enjoy a show with a touch of 80's Russia … accents, pickles, vodka and all.

She sings a resounding rendition of YMCA (I told you they were stuck in the 80's) and a cracker of a mash-up of iconic Aussie tunes.

As an interactive show, Rosa seeks out audience members. Her comedic timing is spot on so do as she says because Rosa always has her way!

The professionalism of both performers along with the skilled use of lighting, video screen, props and some willing audience members all add up to great entertainment.

We (myself and a guest) went to this sellout show in this intimate theatre at Sydney's Potts Point and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Go ahead, book for this Sunday's show and enjoy some adult frivolity.
