Spring is here and YES! the fantastic Adelaide Hills POP Market is back with the first market since March 2020 being held on Sunday 18 October 2020 from 11 am to 4 pm. Located in the Hahndorf Memorial Institute, 59 Mount Barker Road, Hahndorf, the POP Market has been delighting young and old since 2015.

Just in time to start your Christmas shopping, there will be jewellery, tea, candles, purses, handbags, art, pillowcases, edibles and so much more.

Built in 1863, you could be forgiven for coming along just to absorb the wonderful atmosphere of this amazing 159-year-old building first established as a place for education, reading and social interactions. Today it is used for all sorts of different activities with local events both public and private filling its days and nights.

However, on the third Sunday of each month, Hahndorf's fabulous Pop Market brings the Institute to life as crafters and makers display their creations, enabling you to reminisce and hear the laughter of a bygone era while shopping.

As Australia begins to reawaken, the ever-changing POP Market brings all your old favourites such as Goodie's Kitchen Garden, Trinkets & Beads, Art by Korossy, Sunnybank Designs, Wyverstone Tea and many more.

POP Market creators bring to the market genuinely unique products and with the market focussing on featuring South Australian artisans, you know that your purchase has been handmade and created with love with profits going back into South Australia.

The market is open from 11 am to 4 pm on the third Sunday of each month and with COVID safe measures in place, such as individual entry and exit doors and a COVID marshall, you can shop in comfort.

Hahndorf is Australia's oldest surviving German settlement with bakeries, pubs, small goods stores, german food stores, restaurants and cafes. Why not make your visit more than a stroll around the market, but a whole day adventure as you set out to explore and support our local businesses and artisans.

Entry is free and public transport is available to Hahndorf from Adelaide. Parking in Hahndorf is simple although can be a little busy at peak times. On street parking is available either in Main Street or on side streets or there is a car park at one end of town if you don't mind a short walk. Disabled access is available.
