See it while it's still legal
Ha Ha's at Ya Ya's is a monthly comedy night in Perth. Found in the local music hideout Ya Ya's, Ha Ha's brings a little rock n roll swagger to stand-up comedy with established support acts, headliner and an MC.
They're back for their monthly comedy showcase and I'm really looking forward to this one as they have a huge line-up of internationals, nationals and top locals. As usual, get in fast as this gig sells-out.
The headliner for the 13th February, 2013 is Nick Sun from NSW. Nick Sun is an Australian stand-up comedian of Nepalese extraction, but chooses to eschew obvious cultural stereotyping in his act, favouring a style that has been described as "unhinged", "offensive" "nihilistic" and "self-destructive."
The proposed changes to the law in Australia could soon make this kind of humour illegal, so see him while you still can.
The MC for the night will be Pat Burtscher from Canada, 'this guy is funny, and, seemingly, effortlessly so. Burtscher's brand of off-the-wall thinking is well worth embracing.' according to The List UK
Plus an all-star support cast in: Steele Saunders (VIC) Jack Tandy Colin Ebsworth & Sean Conway
