Organic, Fair Trade, Delicious Food Like Grandma Made
We all love to eat food that tastes great, excites our senses and offers a great solution for the planet. One of the cafes that fits this bill perfectly is Gypsey and Musquito.
Mmmm as good as it looks *Image from Gypsey And Musquito website and facebook page.
It's a rustic farmers store style cafe but certainly does not lack for gourmet foods. I love that they incorporate Australian bush tucker into their foods and at the same time make me feel like I have stepped back into the warm embrace of a grandmother's kitchen.

The food is nourishing for the soul as well is in line with Fair Trade and eco principles. They make some of the best salads I've had and fantastic old fashioned sausage rolls. Vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters are all well catered for, as well as those with food allergies and intolerances.
If you're feeling like something decadent, they have flourless white chocolate cake with raspberry pistachio or, stepping back into the savoury, perhaps wild mushroom and oregano chicken pies; for just $5 or 14 dollars with salad, they are great value.
I've been there numerous times. The food is deliciously made with true-blue ingredients and creative menu options. Amazing range of vegetarian and vegan choics too. A must stop in Richmond. Highly recommended!
We frequent this fantastic cafe on a regular (don't tell anyone but it's actually almost weekly) basis. Everything on the menu is YUMMMMMMMO however you absolutely have to give their home made crumpets a try...freshly made (you have to wait for them) all puffy and as Enid Blyton would say.."by golly they're covered in lashings of the most yummy, special runny honey and butter".
