Gympie Terrace is the jewel in the crown of Noosaville, in South East Queensland's Sunshine Coast. It is a beautiful river esplanade, located next to Noosa Sound and Munna Point and is a fifteen-minute walk from Hastings Street and the Noosa Main Beach.
It offers something for everyone and is a hubbub of activity especially on weekends and public holidays. Set along pristine Noosa River, it is an ideal spot for a spell of fishing, a day of picnic among family and friends, a refreshing swim, a ride on the pushbike, an invigorating stroll or jog, a walk with the family dog, or a workout at the cross-fit exercise equipment that litter this beautiful river esplanade.
The best thing about this esplanade is that it is flanked by Noosa River on one side and by a stretch of restaurants and cafes on the other. Boats, pushbikes, jet skis, long boards for paddling, and kayaks are available for hire for the day or for a few hours. And what's a better way of starting a Gympie Terrace day than a leisurely breakfast at one of the cafes overlooking the river and the esplanade. It naturally follows that one of the best ways of ending such an enjoyable day is a nice dinner in one of its restaurants.
So get out there, enjoy life, and Gympie Terrace. And don't forget the sunscreen.
