Chocolate lovers unite. This is the cafe for you. The Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe situated in the beautiful two storey sandstone building on the corner of Argyle Street and George Street in The Rocks has so much more to offer than the sea shell arrangement we find in a gift box in most supermarkets. Be impressed by the Belgian cafe feel, comfy antique arm chairs and array of gold framed memorabilia decorating the walls telling the Guylian story. But we are not here for the decor or the fascinating origins of the Guylian worldwide franchise, but rather it's all about the chocolate.
It's all about the chocolate at Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe
Walk in the doors and be amazed by the glorious assortment of chocolate desserts on display. Delicate tiramisu, decadent Opera my way, rich hazelnut torte or the famous Guylian baked chocolate cake. 100% Pure Pleasure had a name offering a lot more than any of the other gorgeous desserts so that was the one for me.How could you resist!
A crisp toffee biscuit delicately balanced on the edge of the creamy rich mousse mould drizzled with a berry coulis and melting in each mouthful. Teamed with one of many delicious chocolatey beverages on offer and your afternoon tea is complete.
Pour your hot milk into the cup and stir as the chocolate melts and blends with the milk to create the yummiest of hot chocolates. A complimentary Guylian gold heart chocolate on the side just in case your chocolate overload is not enough!!
