If you happen to be on the road in Rosemount, between Nambour and Erbacher's Retail & Wholesale Fruit and Vegetables, look out for the very quirky
Guru Life Roastery Garden Cafe, sister store to
The Pocket Espresso bar in Caloundra. You might remember The Pocket Espresso Bar recently also opened
The Jungle in Moffat Beach.

Set in lush green gardens, Guru Life sports a licorices-all-sorts, colourful array of furniture - possibly sourced from local op shops? - with comfy lumpy couches, barstools and garden chairs and tables.

Judging by the over-crowded car park, one could only assume that this was an extremely popular local hang-out. We arrived after lunch, but the whole place was still bustling with patrons, receiving their orders of extremely tantalising offerings.

Most of the seating available is outdoors with a spacious area on one side specifically for visitors to bring along their furry family members.

On the second Saturday of every month, Guru Life hosts a cool Jazz Club (a $5 donation is requested at the door) for their dedicated followers, curated by
Sue Bond from the Sue Bond Jazz Trio.

The day we visited it was a pretty steamy one on the Sunshine Coast and we opted for the iced lattes - which proved to be the perfect antidote to the weather. With such a huge lunch time crowd, we chose
not to order lunch, but simply to sit back and enjoy the whole ambience of the surrounding area.

Guru Life have a very extensive Menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with all the healthy options thrown in too:-

Wattleseed Waffles with lemon curd, lavender cream, honeycomb, orange blossom and macadamia dukkah; or perhaps a
Tofu burger would satisfy those hunger pangs.

The location for this particular Guru Life is spectacular with mountains in the background and an abundance of bird life all enjoying the lush green landscape.

A worthwhile spot to stop off at, especially if you've just visited
Butterfly Hill, which is in very close proximity to Guru Life. I'll definitely be back to sample something delectable from their Menu - perhaps to coincide with the Jazz Club.
