Get ready for an explosive display of fireworks
If Sydney's New Year's Eve fireworks is highly regarded as the biggest show on earth, get ready for the next anticipated fireworks display set to take place in Gunning on Sept 14. This small town of less than 500 residents is nestled in-between Goulburn and Yass in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, about 75km from Canberra. The Gunning Fireworks Festival is the next big thing which will surely send shrivers through your spine with over one hour of explosive displays of artwork.
There will be entertainment before the start of the spectacular show, with Brass'ere, a 9 piece New Orleans style jazz band, and Goulburn Pipe Band showcasing their music. Amusement rides and face painting for the kids, markets with local artists displaying their unique work are just some of the things that will keep the crowd entertained as excitement builds up for the night.
Gates open at 4pm. There is an entry free of $10 per adult, $4 per child and $25 for the whole family.
