I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.

Gunna-Regatta: Beats on the Beach is a free music and outrigging festival that will take place on Saturday April 13, from 11.00am to 5.00pm, in Gunnamatta Bay, Cronulla. The event is being hosted by Sutherland Shire Council as part of National Youth Week 2013, but it's suitable for people of all ages.

Performers at Gunna-Regatta this year will include Allday, a Triple J Unearthed feature artist, as well as Letters to Lions, MC Freeza and Hot Potato Band. Locals Tainui Richmond and Brendon Moore will also perform.

As well as live music, there will also be a huge range of other events and activities going on, like Polynesian dancing and drumming, Beach Zumba, a clothes swap and outrigger races for all ages.

If that wasn't enough, you should also look out for the Live Art Cube at Space 44, get set to enjoy an interactive photo booth and Instagram competition, and be ready for the break dance demonstrations, ukulele karaoke, 'Shire Shake' and an air-guitar competition.

Please note, however, that Gunna-Regatta: Beats on the Beach is an alcohol-free event.
