This is the newest pool in Canberra, so I took my kids there to check it out. It is beautiful and fresh, with all the best modern facilities. I like the look of the building both inside and out.



There aren't any interesting views out the windows, but the glass is subtly coloured, which is a nice touch.

The carpark is purpose-built and free, making life easy. Although the staff were all (by necessity) new when I visited, they were helpful and polite. By now they'll know the ropes with their eyes closed too.

The centre has the usual 50m pool and a decent kids' area linked to the 25m pool, but by far its most interesting feature is Canberra's only indoor splash park. Most kids under four would find it a bit scary because they don't know when they'll get splashed or drenched. The rest will have a lot of fun!
