The 7th Annual
Gumeracha Medieval Fair will be held on the 4th and 5th of May 2013 in Federation Park in Gumeracha in the Adelaide Hills.
There will be:
~
musicians and entertainers who perform in costume and play music with a medieval and historical theme
~
Food and beverage merchants serving a variety of wonderful locally produced wholesome food
~
reenactment groups including archers, viking battlers, dancers, jousting, blacksmiths, weavers and trebuchet.
~
merchants and artists who practice crafts from medieval times. They live in a medieval tent village by the creek (it's fascinating to visit and see their skills demonstrated!)
[ADVERT]~
dozens of medieval stalls , so that you can take home your own piece of medieval times
~ there's also the big event -
the Medieval Feast , held on the Saturday night in the Gumeracha Town Hall. This event usually sells out, so be quick if you want a seat
The Medieval Fair is one of the best family events that I've ever been to and cant recommend it highly enough.
Watch one of the reenactment battles
