Gumbuya Dreaming has been created by acclaimed Indigenous artist
Wayne Quilliam who has brought his unique creative vision to this first-ever winter event at
Gumbuya World , 2705 Princes Highway Tynong, Victoria. His recent groundbreaking work at the
Indigenous Lume Melbourne Experience, Wayne's portfolio spans the globe.

Gumbuya World is Victoria's only Water, Wildlife and Theme Park filled with epic water slides, and awesome rides. So come along to this mesmerising digital light experience 60,000 years in the dreaming from

Enjoy captivating light installations and entrancing soundscapes in the Dreaming Zones, while exploring the beauty of flowers, the dance of fire and water, and the majesty of land and animals. A breathtaking light experience, thrilling and leisurely rides, and mouth-watering delights combine to create a magical time for one and all. You will step into an immersive celebration of Aboriginal culture, starting with a vibrant
Smoking Ceremony at the Entrance. Journey through the Plaza’s shifting colours and into the Gumbuya Gathering Zone, where a smokey sculpture surrounded by dynamic lighting awaits, inviting reflection and connection. Finally, wander into the Dreaming Field, where flowers shimmer amidst the surrounding trees.
Dynamic lasers will guide you along the water/fire river where you can pause at the scenic Billabong and the Hairyman trees transformed into a kaleidoscope of colours. Continue to the captivating Fire Dance performance of fiery movements, echoing the traditions of storytelling. Conclude your journey at Emu Promises, where you can float your own written note in illuminated emu eggs down the Lazy River, a symbol of renewal and connection to the land. In the 'Land & Animals' zones, the wonders of nature intertwine with First Nations’ stories. Discover the Talking Trees, a mesmerising display of smoke, mirrors and sounds. Head deeper into the Cave of Smoke for an entrancement of melodies and swirling mists. Stop at the Bogong Moth Story where toadstools illuminate the path. Toward the end, find serenity in the Dream Forest, offering a captivating immersion into culture and nature.
