Situated on the ever-pleasant Cowes (the main town of Phillip Island), Gullivers is one of the best eateries around and is a mere stroll from Western Port Bay, with gorgeous panoramic views of French Island & the Mornington Peninsula.
If you can get a table at the popular diner it is also surprisingly affordable and well served. For example for a tradies' breakfast of eggs, toast, bacon, sausages and maybe a tad too many mushrooms, as well as a small stack of pancakes complete with strawberries, ice cream, and of course maple syrup, 1 latte and 1 small cap, only set me back $29. This to me is great value for money considering this was over the Easter weekend and in the centre of the top tourist destinations on Main Street!
The interior of the restaurant/cafe/wood panelled wine bar is a charming, friendly and most importantly in these coming colder months - a warm and welcoming joint to kick back with close ones or get reacquainted with Jimmy, Johnnie and Jack.
