There will be more than a touch of romance in the air at the on Saturday, February 6.



With Valentine's Day just around the corner, vendors will have plenty of gift ideas on display for romantics looking for something out of the ordinary. Artisan stalls will include vendors with handcrafted and unusual goods, including fashion and accessories, home and garden decor, gourmet food products, local artworks along with a few vendors offering authentic vintage fashion and quality upcycled wares.



Tucked in under the sugar gums on Guildford's charming Stirling Square, the market will also feature food and entertainment for mums and dads as well as the children.

As well as more than 60 artisan stalls, there will be around 20 food vendors including Greek food from OPA OPA Perth, Banh Mizzle Authentic Vietnamese Street Food, modern fusion food from Tikka Tango, Chinese street food from Master Panda, Indian from Bombay Knights, a bite of France from Miam Miam, Porta Pizza and the newest Japanese food truck on the Perth scene Maneki Neko Perth.

Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are all available.



For romantics wanting to express their love in a portrait, character artist Ania Azarenko will be on hand drawing portraits on the night.

Ania has been attending the markets since October and often has a queue waiting for her so good to jump in early in the evening.

Musical entertainment comes in the form of regulars the Perfect Storm Duo from 5pm to 7pm, followed by Andrew Simpson Entertainer from 7.15pm to 9pm, who is known around Perth for his Boy George Tribute Show and Dame Edna Show along with his Rocky Horror shows.



Free children's activities include a bouncy castle, COVID safe face painting, yard games and mega bubbles. There will also be pony rides and an animal farm for a small fee.

The markets are easily accessible by train, a minute or two's walk from the train station and ideal for people looking to make a day out of it by wandering the antique and bric-a-brac shops along Guildford's James Street.

The operate on the first Saturday of every month from October through to April from 5pm to 9pm.
