Excellent brunch and even better coffee
Nestled in the heart of Guildford lies the best brunch spot in the eastern suburbs. Loved by many and brunched in by those both near and far, Guildford Milk Bar is sure to become your new favourite spot for a brekkie and coffee combo you will not forget.
Their menu offers the best of the traditional brunch fare, with eggs being a staple in many of the meals. You can enjoy eggs with avo, bacon and eggs, scrambled eggs, a big breakfast combo and a delectable eggs benedict. You can also browse the menu for a variety of burgers and salads and the counter side cabinet boasts a variety of tasty treats, including freshly made cakes, filled rolls and pastries!
In my opinion, the best value dish at Guildford Milk Bar is the Special Breakfast. Featuring all the delights of a big breakfast - bacon, eggs, toast, sausage, hashbrown and tomato - you also get a tea or coffee included in the price. All this for less than $20! You definitely won't find better brunch value (and quality) than that! Their coffee is also consistently excellent, served quickly and efficiently by the group of friendly milk bar staff.
Located at 197-199 James St, Guildford Milk Bar is open daily from 6am-3pm on weekdays and 7am-3pm on the weekend.
The style of the cafe is modern-rustic with dark wooden floors, gentle lighting and cute teal coloured coffee cups. You are sure to spot many friendly local faces at this cafe, as it is truly a popular spot (for good reason!)
There's also a selection of home-made Asian fare on offer – HOT TIP- ask nicely for the secret chilli out the back to add to your dish!
Whether you are after a nice brunch catch up with a friend, a group breakfast with the family or a quiet solo coffee with a good book, Guildford Milk Bar is definitely the place to be.
