As we come to the end of the year, many start to reflect on their work life, relationships and health. We start to consider new options for the year ahead - whether it be to change employment or achieve a personal goal - all in the hope of achieving real happiness.

In our current times of uncertainty, happiness can appear somewhat unattainable, but there is support from charities such as Karuna.

When people have the skills and support to face challenges, Karuna believes they can live a more meaningful and happy life. To help inspire and educate, Karuna will be hosting a new series of engaging workshops, under the banner of 'Guidelines for a Happy Life'.

Each workshop will be presented by Venerable Carla Pearse, a counsellor and ordained Buddhist nun, highly regarded for her lively, down to earth style.

In a welcoming atmosphere, participants will discuss what happiness means to them and discover how they can make practical changes for a happier life.

Uncover the four keys for finding wisdom:

  • Workshop 1 - How we think - 30 October 2016

  • Workshop 2 - How we act - 6 November 2016

  • Workshop 3 - How we relate to others - 26 February 2017

  • Workshop 4 - How we find others - 5 March 2017

Each workshop will run from 10am to 4pm at the historic Karuna House at 27 Cartwright Street in Windsor. The cost is $150 per workshop or $480 for all four workshops.
