I am a writer living in Adelaide. I love food and travel.
Be active and enjoy nature

Every year, Friends of Belair National Park leads various nature walks around the park. These walks are free and open to the public. The aim is to view flowering native plants while walking. I have had the privilege of joining in on quite a number of these walks over the past couple of years. They are a great way to get active and enjoy nature at the same time.

For 2019, walks will be held on the second Tuesday of the month and the Sunday that follows.

April 9th & 14th

May 14th & 19th

June 11th & 16th

July 9th & 14th

August 13th & 18th

September 10th & 15th

October 8th & 13th

November 12th & 17th

Once at the entrance to the park, ask for your free entry. Then proceed to the Green Shed by 1:45pm. Walks start at 2pm and are about two hours in length. Always check their Facebook page before heading out in case of cancellations due to severe weather.
