Learn about Adelaide’s beautiful parklands

Adelaide Parklands Preservation Association (APPA) holds guided walks each month across the various parklands in Adelaide City. The guided walks are led by volunteers who are called "Park Ambassadors". These ambassadors have a love tor the parklands and on the tour, they share their knowledge on the history and stories of the parks.

Each month a different park is chosen. We have been to many of the walks and they are always enjoyable and informative. The walk is easy and not strenuous and suitable for people of any fitness level. The duration of the walk is usually from one and a half to two hours.

The guided walks are open to the public. They are free for APPA members, however, for non-members, a gold coin donation is requested. Children and dogs on leash are also welcome.

For a schedule of their 2020 guided walks, see APPA website.
