Guided Walk through GS Kingston Park /Wirrarninthi (Park 23)

This August, Adelaide parklands ambassadors Ted and Nate Jennings will be leading a popular winter walk through GS Kingston Park/Wirrarninthi in the west parklands.

Winter is an excellent time to explore the Wirrarninthi interpretive trail behind the immaculately landscaped park fronting West Terrace. The wetlands are full of water and the bush trails hide some of Adelaide's best bush landscapes and rare native plants. There's plenty of art to explore and things to see and do along the way.

GS Kingston Park has a split personality. Half of the park is occupied by the historic West Terrace Cemetery which is home to some famous graves.

Children are welcome on this walk, as are dogs (on leads). Wear sturdy shoes for this walk of around two hours duration. Walkers should meet at the corner of West Terrace and Wylde Street which is just across the road from Wright Street,

Join this mid-winter walk on Sunday the 1st of August at 1.30pm by booking here . Tickets are $5 for non-APA members and free for members.
