EquiTune invites you to kick-start your wellness journey alongside their herd of horses! Located on a peaceful horse property in Chandler, EquiTune has amazing facilities as well as direct access to 200 acres of horse trails (just 20 minutes from Brisbane).
On Sunday 7 August, join the herd and harp therapist Imogen whilst Nat takes you on a Yoga Nidra journey. Feel your worries melt away with two hours just for you! You will also be outside with some members of the herd of horses!
People with years of experience in yoga and meditation find a new level of connection, openness and peace through being with horses. Yoga Nidra is also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness and is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain.
While the practitioner rests comfortably in savasana (corpse pose), this systematic meditation takes you through the pancha maya kosha (five layers of self), leaving you with a sense of wholeness.
5 Benefits of Yoga Nidra
1. Anyone can do Yoga Nidra
2. You cannot practice Yoga Nidra incorrectly
3. It is a simple way to reduce stress
4. Offers the opportunity to learn about yourself
5. Both meditation and Yoga Nidra help cells regenerate and repair, and both help decrease anxiety and improve your mood.
Why to live harp music?
Clinical studies are quantifying the therapeutic benefits of live harp music for regulating stress hormones, equalising and slowing down brain waves, inducing restful sleep, releasing physical and emotional suffering, and helping listeners to access peaceful states conducive to healing. Imogen is a qualified harp therapist and looks forward to supporting you.
