It is estimated that 80% of Australians suffer from some degree of unmanaged or recurring stress. Regular meditation, which helps to regulate breath, still the body and clear it of toxins, is a well-proven stress-management tool. More so, depending on the type of meditation, it can also help you to access subconscious thoughts which can then be processed and understood, consciously. This can drive self-awareness, emotional intelligence and life solutions.
Donna has facilitated crystal-bowl guided meditation classes for over 15 years. These guided meditations, demand more of you than sitting in silence and managing breath. After a preliminary discussion with attendees, Donna asks people about 'the week that was' and uses those issues raised to voice-channel an appropriate meditation. There is always a follow-up discussion which helps you to remember your meditation experience and to learn from others.

The Crystal Bowl, Guided Meditation classes encourage internal reflection. Participants who already have a well-activated 3rd Eye will find this meditation easier than those who are not as visual. The narrative is for everyone in the room, which means that it is perfectly OK to just follow the parts that directly resonate with you. The quartz crystal,chakra-tuned bowls also vibrate healing sound waves, so just lay back and let the deep tone of the crystal bowls do their magic.
Crystal Bowl, Guided Meditation classes are held every Monday night at Ka-Sa Crystal Healing Centre in Kew from 7.30pm-8.30pm, except on public holidays. Participants vary in age, background, culture and occupation and the class size ranges from 4-8 people. You can bring your own yoga mat and favourite meditation shawl if you prefer. The class-cost is $20 per person and casuals are welcome.
