Teach your kids the importance of growing food
The Eco Living Display Centre, situated on the grounds of The Briars in Mount Martha, offers a selection of sustainability workshops throughout the year for anyone interested in green living.

With just a few weeks left of the summer school holidays, the Eco Display Centre will be offering an activity for the little eco's next Wednesday 22 January 9:30 - 11am.

The Grubby Hands Workshop, will introduce children aged 6 - 10 years to the joys of gardening. The 1.5 hr class will teach kids the importance of soil composting and the basics of growing food.

It is never too early to get your children interested in growing their own food. The Grubby Hands Workshop could well be the introduction they need to become independent little green thumbs.
