Sunday seems to be the perfect day for markets and a nice ending to a weekend away from work. The Growers Green Farmers Market runs each Sunday morning on the green at the Fremantle College. Not too early, the markets commence at 8.00am and run until 12 Noon, which gives you plenty of time at home to get a few things done or arrive early at the markets and enjoy a hot breakfast.
Growers Green was established by the South Fremantle High School P&C (renamed to Fremantle College), to provide an organic and alternative market from supermarket shopping where you can talk direct to the farmer. The first Sunday of each month is a "Big Market" day with extra stall selling vintage, handmade and pre-loved clothing, books, jewellery, crafts and accessories. Fresh, local and grower-direct fruit and vegetables are available every Sunday.

One the first and third Sunday of every month, you will find the family business,
Native Spirit Oils on-site, ready to give advice on the benefits of essential oils. Their passion is based on the
Native Myrtle Family of Australia.
Their journey commenced when they purchased a small steam distillation setup in 2013 and began growing plants to distil. Education was gained on how to grow and distil native Western Australian Melaleucas from a farm in southern Western Australia. Native Spirit Oils make everything themselves as well as the labelling and packaging so they can keep the costs down for the customer.
