Art has taken to the streets of Toowoomba with alleyways vibrant with graffiti artwork…and it's all legal.



Alleyways off the main drag of Ruthven Street in Toowoomba's CBD are one of many that show off a colourful and cultured side of this delightful country city.



Coffee shops are scattered amidst the various alleys including the 'Ground Up' coffee shop in Seals Walk. It has outdoor seating adjacent to the graffiti lined wall.



The interior is a grunge mix of half-finished brick and exposed wire. There's a tin trunk with books and games for the children whilst the adults sip a latte.





The mood is relaxed with a cool jazz funk music background. Colourful and happy staff serve up your chosen refreshments. 'Ground Up' has the usual array of drinks on offer, but has its own specialty bottled chilled coffee in strong black or flat white. A great coffee fix on a hot day.



Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 6.30am to 3.30pm and Saturday 8am to 3.30pm. Check out details at their Facebook page
