We're halfway through the school holidays and if you've already exhausted your to-do-list of school holiday activities, then this might be the event for you.

The Australian Botanic Garden at Mt Annan is running a "Gross and Gory Workshop" for kids aged 5 and over on Friday the 19th of January. If your little darling thinks fake snot, vomit bombs and exploding pimples could be fun, then be sure to book them in for 3 whole hours of disgusting fun.

The workshop costs $40 and kicks off at 9am. You can book tickets online through Australian Botanic Garden website.

If 3 hours isn't enough, you could even extend their morning at the gardens and book them in for the afternoon event "Garden Detectives" which starts at 1pm. To make your visit easy, the gardens have free onsite parking and plenty for parents to see, including a restaurant and plant nursery.

The Australian Botanic Garden is located at Narellan Road, Mt Annan, NSW 2567. The gardens are open from 8am to 7pm during the summer months.
