The regional music festival like no udder is back in 2016
Moos Flash! Australia's favourite regional music festival Groovin The Moo is heading back to Oakbank in 2016. This year's incredible lineup has just been dropped and the news is GOOD people. Check out the amazing artists heading our way on 25 April:
Yep. This massive all ages festival will be held on Anzac Day in 2016 with the help and support of the Mt Barker RSL. They'll be showing respect with an ANZAC service at 11.30am, followed by bands cranking things up from midday until 11.00pm.
Last year's event was ever-so-slightly rained out but that definitely that wasn't enough to spoil the fun with festival goers embracing the mud baths all round. Although perhaps this year it might be worth investing in a snug pair of gumboots, just in case!
Featuring Alison Wonderland, British India, Illy, The Rubens, Safia, and heaps more local and international artists you know and love, there'll also be acts by Triple J Unearthed competition winners to add some emerging talents to the lineup.
As with all Groovin The Moo events, there's a strict No Passouts policy, but a range of goodies will be available to get you through the day. Over 20 food stalls will be dishing up sweet and savoury delights, local and international flavours, and options for vegetarians and vegans.
Tickets for Groovin The Moo Oakbank are available online or in person from your nearest moshtix outlet. Price is $110.80 per person including booking fee. Ticket sales close Sat 23rd April unless sold our prior.
Getting to the event from Adelaide is super easy, with free onsite parking available on the day, plus plenty of bus options listed on the GTM website. Check out their festival info guide for more information.

For those interested to read up about about the humble beginnings of this massive event, an awesome commemorative book 'Groovin: the story of Groovin the Moo' is available for purchase through moshtix.
