Sick of being holed up in your boring old house all day every day? Need some fresh air or maybe even some exercise? Then come on down to Grinstead Park in Alderley and fulfil all of those desires.

Located just five minutes walk from the centre of Alderley, Grinstead Park is a hidden gem with ample space and facilities to cater for anything you might throw at it, from lunch with a friend, to a solo exercise bender, or even a big family day out.

There is a fantastic playground which will keep the kids entertained, at least until the food is ready.

For the exercise junkie there is a medium-sized fitness circuit. And also a great running and cycling track which runs from Alderley all the way through Everton Park and ends in Brookside.

For the sports enthusiast, who doesn't have the money to hire a proper court, there is a decent squash wall.

There is also a lovely creek that runs through the park. When there has been a little bit of rain it is the perfect place to dip your feet in and relax.
