Grill'd Marion is located in the Marion shopping centre dining precinct near the cinema. Grill'd is an Australian burger chain founded in 2004 in Melbourne. When a burger is mentioned, one would usually think of an unhealthy fast food product, however, Grill'd is committed to serving customers with healthy burger using fresh and free-range meat and eggs. Also, there are options of buns to choose from, either traditional, panini or even their low carb buns which they say has less carb than one sushi roll.

The menu is extensive with lots of options to choose from. We ordered the Simply Grill'd and the Mighty Crow Eater which comes with cheese, bacon, eggs and salad. We have had others before and they are all delicious and they certainly do not taste like fast food burgers.

The restaurant ambience is nice and the staff very friendly.

The thing I like about Grill'd is that they have a program called "Local Matters" where they make donations to local communities. Each month a restaurant donates $500 to three different " do good" communities. Every customer buying a burger is given a token and you get to select the group you like to support by placing your token in the respective jars. The group that had the most tokens for the month will receive $300 and the other two $100 each. If you know of a community group that you would like to see receive the donation, you can apply online .
