is a great lunch or dinner option amid the array of many restaurants and cafes in Westfield Carindale. The food on offer in Carindale Shopping Centre is well known to be of great quality and the whole shopping precinct is more upmarket than other similar Brisbane shopping centres. While the many fantastic cafes and restaurants give shoppers a good choice of eating options, many of the dining choices are quite expensive for the size of the portions.

is a relatively healthy restaurant with large meal sizes at good prices. As the name suggests, it focuses on grilled burgers. Fresh salad ingredients make the hamburgers taste clean and fresh. Burger options are beef, lamb and chicken as well as veggie burgers.

I tried the Grill'd Bird and Brie Burger which consisted of grilled chicken breast, brie cheese, cranberry sauce, salad and herbed mayonnaise. It was absolutely delicious and I'm keen to go back and try it again - after I try the other fantastic looking options on the menu. My lunch partner had the Big Queenslander Burger with beef pattie, egg, bacon, beetroot, salad, relish and herbed mayonnaise. We also got some fries to share. The meals were so filling we couldn't finish it all.

There are also salad choices on the menu and also options for the little people in the family.

The full menu and prices are available here .

Why should I eat here? Great fresh grilled food, which tastes fantastic. Well priced with decent portions that will fill you up. Great restaurant surroundings with fun decor and comfy tables and chairs.

This is a fun place to meet friends for lunch or dinner.

It's great to support a business who supports their community. Grill'd supports their local community by each store giving $500 a month to worthy local community groups. The way they decide who to give their money to is fun. They give a bottletop to each customer when they order. Three jars are at the front of the store representing three local community groups. Each customer gets to donate their bottletop to a group. The group with the most bottletops at the end of the month gets $300, the other two groups receive a $100 donation each. Any community group can go online and submit an application to be part this project and receive some much needed funds.

Grill'd is open from 10.30am each day for your eating pleasure.
