Events and Functions
From time to time, the Griffith University Art Gallery hosts events and competitions, which are open to university students, staff and visitors.
Special exhibitions include the university's Graduate Art Show, which is quite a renowned event on the calendar of both the university and the Australian art scene. The show attracts artists, designers and investors from all around the country – and even internationally.
This year's Graduate Art Show was officially open on 27 November, and will continue through to 31 January next year.
This is the perfect time for art fanatics to contribute to the betterment and development of budding artists by purchasing a piece from the exhibition.

Artwork donations are always appreciated and received gratefully by Griffith University – anyone is welcome to donate their own or acquired pieces of art.
Financial support towards the gallery's projects is also appreciated.
For art enthusiasts, investors or just anyone who wants to brighten their home or office, most artworks can be purchased. This helps artists to not only feel appreciated, but to become endowed with wings to soar. I'm sure many people bought a Van Gough back in the day to contribute to his efforts, without knowing their investment would grow tenfold.
