My wife and I had a voucher for greyhound racing at the Wentworth Sports Complex in Glebe, either on Friday or Saturday evening.

The voucher was from Scoopon, and was $19 for two for the races and 2 drinks each and 2 race books. We went a bit early, parked in the paid parking (which is guarded) for $12, and then had our voucher drinks. There is a bistro cafe where you can get regular pub food and the service was good.

The races started at 7:15 PM and we watched two races. There is a gap of 20 minutes between the races, so we were there for about 40 minutes. My aim was to try and get some good shots of the hounds, but the first attempt can never be the greatest. All in all, it was a good experience, but maybe better for folks living close to the city.

It's a nightmare to drive in there on a Friday evening, but the races are spectacular and it is amazing how fast these hounds can run.

A must do!

Posting a few photo attempts from the event.
