A realistic setting to ride and develop road safety skills
Families have flocked to enjoy Brisbane's newest cycle park, located along Greenways Esplanade, Parkinson.

This recently completed project was designed to resemble authentic road settings, providing opportunities for children to develop real-life skills within a safe environment.

The track boasts 220m of wide concrete pathways, suitable for bike and scooter users. Children can ride along lined roads, adhere to traffic signage and navigate intersections and crossings.

Brisbane landmarks have also been incorporated into the design, including the Gateway Bridge, Brisbane River and CBD precinct.

Even better, bike maintenance and small repairs can be made on-site. A bike repair station has been provided for users, equipped with air pumps, Allen keys, screwdrivers and spanners.

Nearby, families can enjoy a playground, exercise equipment, basketball court, off-leash dog area, barbecues and picnic shelters. There is also a dirt BMX track behind the cycle park, ideal for more capable riders.

Toilet facilities and a car park are available.

This cycle park was an initiative between the Transurban-led Logan Enhancement Project and Brisbane City Council.
