Absolutely breathtaking.
We had just arrived in Denmark and were keen to hit the beaches. We had heard a lot about Greens Pool and its neighboring beach, Elephant Cove but were still unsure what to expect.
I will never forget that first walk across the carpark towards the beach. As you follow the trail that leads to the beach, the beach slowly becomes visible above the tree-line and it creates such a striking view and there are no words capable of describing how that feels.
That initial walk into Greens Pool, pictures don't do it justice!
It is home to the clearest turquoise waters I have ever seen and is probably one of the calmest beaches I have swum at. It is perfect for swimming and relaxing and exploring as you don't have to compete with pesky waves or strong tides. This makes it a great beach for young and old alike.
An ice cream truck even resides in the carpark and equally stunning Elephant Cove is only a few minutes walk away.
