One of ten species worldwide most at risk from climate change, koalas wild population can be safeguarded for the future through tree planting and habitat protection, so come along and help fight the fight to preserve these unique species.

The Koala Clancy foundation and Port Phillip Greens has a fun day out planned, planting koala trees, removing weeds, watching koalas and having the opportunity for an educational walk with host and koala researcher and wildlife tour guide, Janine Duffy. Having worked with wild koalas for 19 years, she is one of Australia's top wildlife guides, a world-award-winning eco-tour operator and koala researcher. She has appeared in media worldwide including National Geographic, Wild Australia with Ray Mears and Jack Hanna's Into the Wild, and she regularly gives talks about koalas to landcare and environment groups.

The not-for-profit Koala Clancy Foundation started in 2015 and it strives to inspire travellers and local communities to ensure a future for wild koalas. They rely on donations and the promotional reach of international travellers, not to mention the willing hands of local volunteers and private landowners to restore koala habitat to the rivers and creeks of western Victoria. The foundation's major supporter and founder is social enterprise wildlife tour operator Echidna Walkabout Nature Tours.
