Get Out To Greenout - You Won't Regret It
I have a favourite new place to dine out for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Maroochydore. Green Out Healthy Cafe and Pintxo Bar is a great addition to an otherwise underutilised Ocean St. It's the heart of Maroochydore and it should be pumping - and Green Out's just the medicine to get it ticking again.

I was impressed straight off the bat - the atmosphere was colourful, the staff were welcoming and the settings were great. There's a choice of indoor and outdoor dining. I'll choose the latter every time just for the comfy couches they've got outside.

Breakfast is available at any time of day - always a win in my book. There's nothing worse than going somewhere for a late breakfast on the weekend only to find they stopped serving it at 11am. I had a great egg white omelette with goat cheese and tomato salsa ($16.90).

By night it's a gourmet Pintxo, beverage and cocktail bar. I know what you're thinking - what's Pintxo? I had to look it up myself.

Def: Pintxox (pron. 'pin-cho'): Essentially, it's a reference to the first tapas. It translates to mean 'thorn' or 'spike' and that's how the very first tapas was held together... with a toothpick. It's the name given to tapas in the northern region of Spain. Now Pintxo can be found all over the world in many different styles and cuisines.

My partner sampled the Laphet toke ($13.90) - Burmese pickled green tea leaf salad, assorted crispy fried beans and peanuts, garlic, tomato chilli, olive oil and lemon juice. She was an instant fan and she's ordered if every other time since. The Pintxo dinner is available Wednesday to Sunday, so plan ahead so you're not disappointed.

There's also plenty of other items on the menu if you're not liking the sound of Pintxo - I had a great crispy skin salmon on a bed of grilled vegetable quinoa with lemon herb oil for ($27.90).

There's so much to Green Out - it really can't be experienced in just one sitting. It's a great place to relax breakfast, lunch or dinner. I've been there multiple times either for a snack, a meal or a late night drink to celebrate the end of the week. It's well worth your time.
