Picnic & play by the bay
Looking for a picnic spot on the weekend that's not crowded? Head down to Greene Park, on the northern end of the Wynnum Foreshore, for a lovely park with plenty of space, views and facilities.

Greene Park is just 30 minutes from Brisbane and minutes away from the great historic Wynnum Wading Pool and 'water whale park' adventure play area at Pandanus Beach. This is very popular on the weekends, so an alternative is to head up north along the Esplanade and do a 'dog leg' around Wynnum Creek to Greene Park on Fox Street.
