Outside of the general endurance workout station as well free weights, members will have the chance to join a boxing class, "cross fit" type station and (my all-time favorite) a personal virtual workout room called 'Fitness on Demand.'
The latter, I would say, sets the Green Zone Fitness centre light years ahead of your average 'run of the mill' gym. Apparently, this section will allow one-on-one virtual training by choosing from an array of options, from Tabata to yoga. It is something I am really looking forward to trying out.
Currently, you can sign up to be a member while the gym is being built, which will be open 24/7 on the outer section of the Warwick Mall.
There are no joining fees for the basic membership package, however a joining fee will be charged when you add on the extras such as boxing and the "cross fit studio". Plus, all those who join now will be eligible for this low fee next year, as the Green Zone Fitness Centre will be looking at increasing the fees once the doors open.
Becoming a member is easy. There is a registration table in the Warwick Mall by K-Mart. Being open 24 hours means you can schedule a workout anytime of the day which is a great option for busy people.
